2024: Investing 1 billion rubles in the creation of a new plant in the Moscow region
Kaliningrad caravan manufacturer Grunwald will invest 1 billion rubles in the creation of a new plant in the Moscow region. Mikhail Bagin, head of the company's marketing department, spoke about this on February 1, 2024.
According to him, the construction of the enterprise will begin during the first quarter of 2024, and its commissioning is scheduled for mid-2025. The project provides for the construction of a building with an area of 10 thousand square meters. meters on a plot of 12 hectares. It will house the production and administrative part. The central sales office will also be concentrated there, Interfax reports with reference to Bagin.
It is noted that in the Kaliningrad region the company has four production sites. The new building in the central part of the country will take over part of the operations to speed up work, in particular delivery times. The new plant will begin production using parts produced in Kaliningrad with a large assembly. The company will launch the production of main semi-trailers: storm, onboard, semi-trailers-refrigerators, in the future also semi-trailers-container ships.
If now the company produces about 4,000 units of equipment per year, then with the launch of a new enterprise, the volume of products produced only at the first stage will increase to 5000-7000... The next stage in our development is an enterprise in the center of the country, which will take over part of production operations to speed up the execution of contracts and reduce the delivery time for products, "added Mikhail Bagin in early February 2024. |
By this date, Grunwald is one of the largest manufacturers of trailed equipment in Russia. The headquarters and main production areas are located in the Kaliningrad region.[1]
