Hendisolyushens Ltd, the operator of HandyBank payment system, is registered on December 14, 2012 by the Bank of Russia as the operator of payment system according to the law "On the National Payment System" No. 161-FZ. The corresponding record is entered in the unified register of operators of payment systems behind number 0009.

HandyBank is interbank payment system of Internet banking. Works at the market since 2006. It is compatible to any bank processing. Provides to banks the outsourcing solution of Internet banking for their clients – individuals. For 11/1/2012 participants of a system are 112 banks which retail network of service covers 280 cities in 72 regions of Russia. Technology interaction is set with 14 multibanking processing centers. In a system about 7000 merchants are provided. A system is certified on compliance to the international standard PCI DSS. Is a winner of the award e-Finance Awards in the field of electronic business and the award "Financial Elite of Russia 2012" in the Internet Bank of Year nomination. The HandyBank system takes the 1st place in the final rating of functionality of Internet bankings of the Ekspert magazine (2011, 2012).

History

2018: InfoWatch purchased 80% of HandySolutions

In the middle of February, 2018 it became known of HandySolutions sale to the decision maker for information security support of InfoWatch which major shareholder is Natalya Kasperskaya. This acquisition will allow the company to create own financial technical-platform and, perhaps, to enter the market of cryptocurrencies.

According to RBC with reference to data from the SPARK system, InfoWatch purchased 80% of Hendisolyushens LLC managing HandyBank payment system. The share was sold by Sergey Chernomorov — the chairman of the board and the shareholder of New Character bank. The cost of the transaction does not reveal.

The founder and the CEO of Pay-Me payment system Vladimir Kanin  estimates HandySolutions approximately at $5 million so InfoWatch could pay about $4 million for purchase of a 80 percent share.

According to Canina, mobile application of HandyBank does not enjoy wide popularity, but the company has an experience of outsourcing software development for banks and quite good technologies.

I think, Kasperskaya could purchase the company because of the technologies which are available for them, practices and a command quicker to enter banking business, not to develop technology from scratch — he considers.

The analyst of one of large banks to whom the edition refers, says that the cost of purchase of HandySolutions could be significantly reduced because after revocation of license of New Character bank in the HandyBank system there was a failure.

According to the analyst of Finam Leonid Delitsyn, due to acquisition of InfoWatch payment system can enter the market of cryptocurrencies. Natalya Kasperskaya reported that "development of the directions of the services connected with fintekhy is planned".

Earlier Kasperskaya said that the bitcoin is development of intelligence agencies of the USA therefore Russia needs to develop own cryptocurrencies.^[1]
