The college is part of the IThub Academy of Information Technology, where you can get popular IT professions based on grades 9, 10 and 11. It was founded in 2017. IThub is a generation educational system based on advanced digital technologies. The advantage of college is in an intensive program of education and practice.

College students receive up-to-date knowledge (programs form practices from IT companies) and the opportunity to quickly apply their skills, providing IT services to real customers. 1st year IThub students are working on projects led by mentors from the industry.

In 2021, the college opens in Rostov-on-Don and Yekaterinburg.

History

2023: Cooperation Agreement with Cyberprotect

Cyberprotect has signed a cooperation agreement with the innovative IThub college of information technology. The document was signed by Mikhail Sumbatyan, director of the IThub college and Elena Bocherova, executive director of Cyberprotect. Cyberprotect announced this on February 5, 2024.

With the participation of Cyberprotect, IThub will train highly qualified specialists by introducing a course on the administration of the company's flagship solution, the Cyber ​ ​ Backup and Recovery System, into the college's education program. In the future, it is planned to expand the taught disciplines aimed at mastering other Cyber Cyberprotect software solutions and modeling scenarios for using backup and data protection, building fault-tolerant infrastructures using company solutions. The introduction of Cyber ​ ​ Backup training into the educational process involves students passing certification, which will give them additional advantages in employment.

The agreement also provides for the joint participation of the parties in scientific research and research work, in the creation, updating and peer review of professional standards, educational programs, curricula and courses, the preparation of joint scientific, expert and analytical materials, as well as participation in the organization and conduct of regional, all-Russian and international events.

Influencing the labor market in the long term is one of the key tasks in the preparation of students of the specialties "Information Security and System Administration" in IThub. The introduction of Cyberprotect software solutions into the educational process will allow students to become in-demand specialists and be leading in the processes of import substitution and use of Russian software, "said Mikhail Sumbatyan, director of IThub college.

2021: Partnership with GMCS

On May 19, 2021, GMCS announced that it had become a partner of IThub college, an international college of information technology. Cooperation with the college is carried out as part of the GMCS HR strategy aimed at supporting young and talented IT professionals.

IThub college trains specialists in several areas, including programming, web development and other specialties in demand by the digital economy. The philosophy of the college is based on the use of a project approach to teaching, the preparation of educational programs in conjunction with employers and the use of advanced teaching methods, including the p2p approach (when students teach each other).

IThub students will have the opportunity to take internships at GMCS, combining study with practice on real IT projects. And senior students and graduates will be able to pass the competition and get to work in the company. In addition, GMCS plans to support open college events, as well as participate in the development of courses and educational programs.
