Activities

The institute is engaged:

• analytical, research and consulting activity;
• social and economic and scientific and technical forecasting;
• examination, development and implementation of bills and regulations, target programs, innovation and investment projects;
• information service on problems of development of information society and economy of knowledge.

Governing bodies

The supreme body of management of Institute is the Board of Directors. The solution of the most important issues of activity of institute is within its competence, for example:

• change of the charter, determination of priority activities and development strategy of institute;
• making changes in the structure of the Supervisory board of Institute, decision making about reorganization and liquidations of Institute, delegation of representatives of Institute for participation in activity of other organizations.

Supervision and control of activity of Institute are exercised by the Supervisory board into which representatives of the Russian, international and foreign public institutions, organizations and enterprises, non-governmental organizations and organizations, enterprises and firms can enter; the individuals separating the authorized purposes of Institute.

Accomplishment of solutions of Board of Directors and the Supervisory board, coordination of all work of Institute and support of its business activities are performed by General Directorate.

As of June, 2012 entered into Board of Directors of IRIO:

• Khokhlov Yury Evgenyevich is a chairman, the Head of Directorate of regional programs of Institute of development of information society, the Academician of the Russian engineering academy

• YELIZAROV Alexander Mikhaylovich is the Head of Directorate of educational programs of Institute of development of information society, D. f. - m of N, professor

• YERSHOVA Tatyana Viktorovna is the CEO of Institute of development of information society

• MENDKOVICH Andrey Semyonovich is the Head of Directorate of development and use of ICT of Institute of development of information society, the President of scientific and educational network FREENet, D. x. N.

• STROGANOV Victor Vladimirovich - the Deputy CEO - the chief executive of Institute of development of information society

• SHAPOSHNIK Sergey Borisovich is the head of Directorate of monitoring of development of information society of Institute of development of information society, the Head of the Center of computer telecommunications of Institute of history of natural sciences and the equipment of S.I. Vavilov RAS

• YAKUSHEV Mikhail Vladimirovich is the Head of Directorate of legal programs of Institute of development of information society, the Managing director of Digital Sky Technologies.
