JSC INTER RAO Lietuva — the participant of the electrical power market of the Baltic States, one of the largest independent electricity providers in Lithuania who is actively developing activity in Latvia and Estonia. INTER RAO Lietuva is also present at the sector of generation of the electric power, owning and managing one of the largest wind farms in the Baltic States (it is located in the Western Lithuania). The company actively cooperates with partners from the Baltic and Scandinavian countries, Russia, Belarus and Poland.

2019

The average salary in June — 8900 euros

According to the Lithuanian Social insurance fund (SODRA), in June, 2019 the INTER RAO Lietuva company paid to the workers on average 8900 euros "on paper".[1]

Assets

For July, 2019 INTER RAO Latvia, INTER RAO Eesti, IRL Polska and Vydmantai wind park subsidiary companies are a part of the INTER RAO Lietuva group. The company performs trade in the European energy market of Nord Pool integrating a number of the countries of Scandinavia and the Baltic (business is done at the Nord Pool Spot exchange).

Owners

51% of the stocks INTER RAO Lietuva belong to the Finnish enterprise RAO Nordic OY (the subsidiary trading company JSC Inter RAO UES), 29% of stocks belong to the Lithuanian investment company Scaent Baltic Ltd. 20% of the stocks INTER RAO Lietuva are in market circulation.

2002: Beginning of work

The company began the activity in 2002 when in Lithuania liberalization of the electricity market was carried out and work of independent electricity providers and also others of participants of public market is legalized.
