History

2024: Lukoil bought "Kogalym oilfield equipment-service "

On October 18, 2024, it became known that Lukoil had entered into an agreement on the purchase of Kogalym Oilfield Equipment-Service (Kogalym NPO-Service LLC), located in the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug - Ugra. There is no information on the value of the transaction as of the specified date.

Under the terms of the contract, the 99.9 percent share of Kogalym NPO-Service LLC passed into the possession of Lukoil-Western Siberia LLC. The seller of the asset is Service Management LLC.

Kogalym Oilfield Equipment-Service includes two main production sites: the central pipe base, founded in 1986, and the base for production maintenance and repair of oilfield equipment, formed in 1981. The company's website says that it has modern production buildings, uses the latest technologies in the provision of services for the manufacture, repair, installation and maintenance of parts, assemblies, assemblies, mechanisms and structures of the oil and gas production complex and popular goods. As of 2024, the company employs about 760 people. Among the main activities are repair and maintenance of pumps, compressors and machines used in oil and gas production; reconstruction and re-equipment of oilfield facilities; manufacturing of spare parts; metrological support; activities in the field of welding technologies.

Earlier, Lukoil concluded a tripartite memorandum with Sulzer and Kogalym NPO-Service LLC, according to which a service company is created to provide Lukoil with services for the maintenance, repair and modernization of rotating equipment (compressors, pumps, etc.) in the West Siberian region. It is planned to localize the production of spare parts of energy efficient pumping equipment in Kogalym.[1]
