Initially Russian online edition "Kompyyulenta" was posvyashchyono to news of the computer industry, science and technology.
As of June, 2012 in Kompyyulenta LLC equal shares Dmitry Mendrelyuk and Alyona Shagina from Sanoma Independent Media (in 2002-2006 was the advertizing director in Computerra)[1] own[1].
As of 2013 Kompyyulent began to be guided by science news completely. The edition lost the separate domain and was poured as the section in the domain Computerra.ru.
On April 30, 2014 because of financial problems work of edition was stopped.
