MESI - Moscow State University of economy, statistics and information science

In 2015 there was consolidation REU of G.V. Plekhanov and Moscow State University of economy, statistics and information science (MESI).

MESI concentrates the efforts on ensuring access to high-quality education on the basis of use of technologies of e-learning (e-learning). The university successfully implements the system of distance learning; the Electronic Campus of MESI project is implemented. All faculty of the University received certificates on teaching in the environment of e-learning. 100% of students have an opportunity to interact with MESI via the Internet. Jobs of teachers and students are equipped with the equipment for use of modern educational technologies.

The university develops communications with the foreign universities and the organizations. MESI is the only university of Russia which is the member of the European association of the universities of distance learning (EADTU), the main operator of the European Union on e-learning development. Compliance of educational services to world-class standards and wide use of information and communication technologies allow MESI by the right to be called the university of new type implementing the principles of creation of the hi-tech educational systems in practice.
