Marinet Industry Center

The autonomous non-profit organization supporting the development of high technologies in the marine industry "MARINET Industry Center" was created in December 2017 by leading enterprises and universities of the industry and began its activities in 2018.

Purposes

The goals of the Industry Center for December 2021 are:

• Promoting an enabling environment for the development and deployment of high technologies in the marine and river industries, including promising e-Navigation markets, ocean technologies, innovative shipbuilding, improved training for these markets and increased competitiveness of the workforce, environmental protection;
• Promoting the improvement of the legal and regulatory framework in order to eliminate administrative barriers to the development of promising markets and new industry technologies, as well as to stimulate the advanced introduction of advanced high technologies by domestic developers and manufacturers;
• promotion on the market, including on the international market, of high-tech solutions of domestic developers and manufacturers of products for the marine industry;
• development of relations with state bodies and international organizations, including through representation and participation in them;
• coordination of research and educational activities in promising segments of the high-tech market for the marine and river industries.
