2020: Use of the robot conveyor

In August, 2020 at the Ukrainian restaurant McDonald's the robot conveyor for issue of orders appeared. The innovation is connected with the fact that the express issue window is in this institution far from kitchen that caused certain inconveniences.

For their overcoming the 12-meter robot conveyor was mounted. In kitchen of restaurant attach the packed order to the conveyor, then the mechanism transfers it under an institution ceiling to the employee at an express window, and that already issues a packet with food to the client.

In the Ukrainian McDonald's the robot conveyor for issue of orders appeared

Earlier because of a distance between a window of the order and kitchen visitors could not receive all range in an express window, for example, French fries could be ordered only near cash desk in an institution. Appearance of the robot fixed this problem.

From kitchen to an express window the packet reaches in 21 seconds therefore the conveyor for an hour can issue up to 400 packets with dishes which visitors order with themselves.

The robot conveyor started working at McDonald's restaurant in TSUM in the city of Dnieper. In other institution fast food network in a sleeping array of Kiev, on the Wine-grower, the smart terrace in which the optimal climate is automatically maintained was mounted. Electronics starts if necessary the conditioner or heating.

For couriers on a smart terrace the special room so they can expect the order in comfortable conditions is equipped. The terrace can be transformed from closed in opened and vice versa.

Earlier in McDonald’s there were robots for dipping of French fries, chicken nuggets and fish cutlets in capacity with oil and also implementation of voice actuation in ordering process on self-service racks. Plus to it, the company began to use machine learning to offer goods on the basis of different factors, such as time of day, weather on the street or popularity of dishes.[1]
