MERA company (MERA) - one of service providers on software development for producers of telecommunication equipment and solutions. The company was founded in 1989 in Nizhny Novgorod, develops software for the systems of the fixed, wireless and convergent communication. Clients of MERA company are world leaders of telecom industry: Ericsson, Nortel, Synapsense, TeleCommunication Systems, Tieto, etc.

MERA develops projects on device management, development of the built-in solutions and software in areas of the intercomputer interaction (M2M) and Internet of Things. Among the executed projects - the Smart home system, applications for the smartwatch and also solutions in the field of telematics and telemedicine. During project data the staff of MERA company showed profound knowledge and rich practical experience of work with the equipment in combination with the innovation approach to problem solving of the customer.

2018

Inclusion in the rating of Global Outsourcing 100

The MERA company, the developer of custom software solutions for producers of the information and communication equipment and the software, in February, 2018 announced that she was mentioned in number 100 of the best service providers of rating of Global Outsourcing 100 according to International association of professionals of outsourcing (IAOP).

As noted, MERA gets to rating for the eighth time, at the same time for the last five years the company for the fourth time wins a title of the leader (Leader Judging Size Category).

The rating of Global Outsourcing 100 serves as a reference point for the companies which are in search of service providers and want to cooperate with the best of the best.

Assessment of the participating companies was made on the basis of complex methodology which includes consideration by independent jury led by Déby by Hamill from IAOP. In 2018 selection criteria became: * size of the company and dynamics of revenue growth;

• responses from key customers about service quality;
• awards and certificates;
• the innovation programs which implementation positively affects business of customers;
• practice of corporate social liability.

In April, 2018 lists of the companies which caused a stir in one or several of five categories will be created. In 2017 MERA showed the best results in two categories from five:

• awards and certificates;
• responses from key customers about service quality.

2017

Audit of SMK according to ISO 9001 and TL 9000

On September 14, 2017 the MERA company announced the next confirmation of conformity of the quality management system (QMS) to requirements of ISO 9001:2008 and TL 9000-V R5.5/R5.0. Audit was booked by the certified BSI company and had the observation character (surveillance visit). With respect thereto the main focus was directed to improvements of SMK with selection check of other elements of a system.

Upon completion of check, the commission of experts noted: existence of a specialized command of quality with professionally built processes, the strong mechanism of internal audit, the high level of knowledge of SMK among the staff of the company, timely collecting of metrics on processes.

Also points of development and the list of possible improvements of processes both in production divisions, and in customer services were defined.

Rendering IT services of Kaspersky Lab

In July, 2017 MERA purchased the new customer on behalf of Kaspersky Lab.

MERA companies help to protect personal and corporate data, including, and products of Kaspersky Lab. However in July the company had an opportunity to apply the examination to fight against the risks and threats existing in the information sphere. Within the new project specialists of MERA will render services of Kaspersky Lab in mobile development and testing.

For our company this project is an important step in development of services in the Russian IT market. Being the international company, Kaspersky Lab has the central office in Moscow and has popularity in the market of the Russian Federation — Denis Nepomnyashchy, the director of customer interaction of MERA company commented on an event. — We are sure that within this cooperation specialists of MERA company will be able to apply the advanced practicians and to render to the customer high-quality services in software development.

2015: Mera opens office in Kazan

In branch of the company development of custom telecommunication, mobile and cloud solutions will be conducted.

"The office in Kazan will allow us to expand opportunities for accomplishment of hi-tech IT projects for customers worldwide in spheres of corporate communications, communication networks and data transmissions, mobile networks and solutions, IP networks, IoT, communication frameworks and many others, - Hazov Daniil, the commercial director of the Russian division of the company said. '-for 2014 - 2015 we opened three new offices in Serbia and the USA – we are going to strengthen further the presence both in Russia, and beyond its limits".

At the moment the company conducts in Kazan active hiring of employees with experience of development in languages C++, Python, under platforms Android and iOS and also specialists in the automated testing for Python.
