MFI Soft

The MFI Soft  is the Russian company, the developer of information security systems (DLP systems, protection against DDoS), filtering systems of Internet traffic and systems of legal control (SORM), antifraud systems. The head office of the company is in Moscow, the development center  — in Nizhny Novgorod.

Solutions of the company are intended for decrease in the financial and reputational risks connected with internal and external threats of information security and also for expansion of commercial opportunities of telecom operators. Now different products MFI Soft use large enterprises, federal state institutions and departmental structures and also telecom operators in Russia and the CIS.

Developments of MFI Soft in information security field and SORM are applied since 2005.

At MFI Soft revenue in 2018 grew almost three times — from 3.5 to 10.3 billion rubles.

Developments and solutions

The main directions of developments of MFI Soft  are the systems of assistance to investigation and search operations, different solutions for information security, protection against DDoS attacks, filtering systems of traffic, detection and prevention of different types of fraud in networks of the telecom operator and retail sales and also individual developments of difficult IT solutions.

In October, 2013 based on audit of a quality management system of MFI Soft company the international organization on certification British Standards Institute (BSI) issued it the certificate of conformity to requirements of ISO 9001:2008. For the first time the certificate of conformity was issued by MFI Soft in 2010.

The quality management system of MFI Soft includes all types of activity of the company: development, implementation, maintenance and sales of the software and hardware and software systems in the field of telecommunications and information security.

Clients

Solutions of MFI Soft are used by such companies as MRK of Svyazinvest, VimpelCom Group, MTS, Comstar, Megafon, Rtkomm, Kazakhtelecom, the Ukrtelecom, etc. During operating time more than 1500 implementing solutions in all federal districts of Russia are implemented.

In 2010 such operator companies as ER-Telecom, Summa Telecom, Compulink, Neksttell, a number of federal state institutions and departmental structures were among clients of MFI Soft. Also the company continued project implementation for MRK of Svyazinvest, Rostelecom, COMSTAR-OTC, VimpelCom groups, the companies of the France Telecom group, operators Synterra, Uzbektelekom. The number of the implemented solutions for the last year in the territory of Russia grew by 17% and exceeded 600. The total quantity of the installed solutions for creation of communication networks exceeded 1000 worldwide that above indicators of previous year for 13%.

2016

In September, 2016 MFI Soft underwent recertification in ISO 9001:2008britanskogo of Institute of Standards (BSI) in the field of development, implementation, maintenance and sale of the software and hardware and software systems in the field of telecommunications and information security.

The quality management system is implemented in MFI Soft in 2010 for the purpose of maintenance of the high level of systematization of development processes and product introduction of the company.

Within the operating quality management system MFI Soft carries out regular market monitoring, the analysis of his requirements, controls the Russian and international trends of the IT industry. In the company large-scale internal work in a format of trainings for employees concerning a quality management system is conducted. Internal and external audits are regularly booked.

2014

MFI Soft enters in TOP-20 the largest companies of information security market according to CNews.

2011

400 telecom operators of Russia use IP solutions of MFI Soft. Based on IP solutions of MFI Soft telecom operators provide to subscribers telephony and convergent services. Growth of the customer base of MFI Soft in 2011 was 20%. Among clients there is MFI Soft: Rostelecom, MTS, Beeline, MegaFon, ER-Telecom and other large multiregional and regional operators.

The project of MFI Soft on creation of the detection system, warning and suppression of the attacks of different type on objects in data networks of telecom operators, in corporate networks and networks of government institutions became the resident of an IT cluster Skolkovo. As informs MFI Soft, this system was developed taking into account requirements of modern high-speed data networks for detecting and effective suppression of the network anomalies requiring solutions of high performance.

2010

November, 2010. British Standards Institute (BSI) booked audit of a quality management system of the Russian producer of infocommunication solutions, MFI Soft companies, and recognized as its conforming to ISO 9001:2008.

In 2010 the company strengthened the positions and increased sales in all segments: sales proceeds increased by 68% in comparison with 2009. At the same time marginEBIDTA indicator at the end of 2010 was 16.3% that also above a similar indicator for 2009. Increase was a consequence of both growth of revenue, and comprehensive cost control.

In 2011 the company shows even more dynamic results: revenue according to the results of the first quarter 2011 exceeded a similar indicator of 2010 by 3.8 times.

The total quantity of installations of solutions for legal control (SORM) in 2010 increased by 35% and exceeded 1200. Solutions SORM-1, SORM-2, SORM-3 were implemented on networks of operators of mobile and fixed connection, Internet service providers.

The number of the implemented solutions for creation of networks and provision of services based on VoIP of the RTU platform in 2010 also increased by 17% and exceeded 600. Last year both the largest interregional telecom operators, and a large number of regional operators and also the companies upgrading the communication infrastructure were among clients.

In 2010 MFI Soft continued process of upgrade and development of functionality of the existing products. So, the new version of a hardware-software complex of RTU 1.5.3 was presented at the Russian market. The updated product has enhanced capabilities on rendering convergent services when ensuring high fault tolerance and flexibility in creation and development of operator and corporate networks. Also the new version of the program switch of MVTS II v.1.3.1 which is widely used by foreign operators for transit of the international traffic was brought to the market. The advanced mechanism of management of profitability became key advantage of the new version.

In 2010 the RTU complex widely was implemented alternative operators as a basis for creation of network of a voice communication, was successfully used by a number of operators of local communication as the platform for providing intellectual services to corporate subscribers. RTU was applied on networks of Rostelecom company in projects on replacement of outdated stations by switches of new generation. Also last year was marked by a number of pilot projects with use of RTU as a single service platform in networks of convergent operators.

On the basis of the RTU complex the pilot project on creation of a single service platform on network of CenterTelecom company within working group No. 6 "Space and telecommunications" of the presidential commission on upgrade and technology development of economy of Russia was successfully implemented. On project deliverables the RTU complex is recommended by the working group for application in Rostelecom company as a basis for transfer of communication networks to IP technologies.

In 2010 the company actively developed the line of solutions on information security including such products as Garda Predpriyatiye, Garda BD, SIM Box the Barrier and Anomaly. Solutions of MFI Soft company in the field of corporate security and protection of databases are intended for decrease in the financial and information risks connected with internal and external threats of information security of the enterprise, prevention of leaks of the commercial information.

MFI Soft strengthened leader positions and in the development area of the systems of legal control for networks with package switching, having continued to develop a line of SORM (SORM-1, SORM-2, SORM-3) according to requirements of regulatory authorities. Expansion of functionality of products allowed to implement successfully SORM both in networks of cellular operators, and in networks of operators of fixed connection and Internet service providers and also it is essential to increase performance of solutions based on SORM according to requirements of the industry in general.

Along with development and upgrade of products by one of key for MFI Soft in 2010 there was an area of work on increase and quality control. Efforts of the company in this direction were mentioned by British Standards Institute (BSI) which recognized compliance of a system of management of MFI Soft to the international standard ISO 9001:2008. Now it includes all spheres of activity of the company: development, implementation, sale and after-sale maintenance of products of the company in the field of IP communications and information security.
