The Ministry of Social Policy and Labor of the Udmurt Republic (Ministry of Social Policy of the UR) operates on the basis of a decree of the Government of the Udmurt Republic of December 1, 2017 No. 506, is the executive body of state power of the Udmurt Republic, carrying out the functions of developing and implementing state policy and regulatory legal regulation in the field of social protection of the population, including social services for citizens, guardianship and guardianship, family and demographic policies, labor relations and other relations directly related to them, in the field of promoting employment of the population, on property management, provision of public services in the established sphere of activity of the Ministry, as well as on implementation of regional state control (supervision) in the field of social services, on the implementation of regional state control (supervision) over the employment of persons with disabilities within the established quota.

2017: Reorganization into the Ministry of Social Policy and Labor of the Udmurt Republic
By the Decree of the Government of the Udmurt Republic of December 1, 2017 No. 506, it was established that the Ministry of Social Policy and Labor of the Udmurt Republic is the successor of the Ministry of Social, Family and Demographic Policy of the Udmurt Republic and the Ministry of Labor and Migration Policy of the Udmurt Republic[1].

The Ministry of Social, Family and Demographic Policy of the Udmurt Republic was the successor to the Ministry of Social Protection of the Population of the Udmurt Republic and the Committee on Family Affairs and Demographic Policy under the Government of the Udmurt Republic.
