Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of Novgorod Region

The Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Novgorod Region is formed by the Government of the Novgorod Region, is the executive authority of the Novgorod Region, exercising powers in the field of transport and road facilities.

History

2020: Reorganisation and name change

On April 27, 2020, the Governor of the Novgorod Region Andrei Nikitin signed a decree according to which the Ministry of Transport, Road Facilities and Digital Development of the Novgorod Region was transformed into the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and Communication Technologies and the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities. The newly formed ministries were supposed to begin their work on July 1, 2020. This was reported by the regional government on April 29, 2020.

By the Decree of the Government of the Novgorod Region of June 10, 2020 No. 261 (entered into force on July 1, 2020), the Ministry of Transport, Road Facilities and Digital Development of the Novgorod Region was renamed the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities^[1] the Novgorod Region].

2019: Activities of the Ministry of Transport, Roads and Digital Development of the Novgorod Region

By the Decree of the Government of the Novgorod Region of January 30, 2019 No. 42, the Ministry of Transport and Road Facilities of the Novgorod Region was renamed the Ministry of Transport, Road Facilities and Digital Development of the Novgorod Region^[2].

The Ministry of Transport, Road Facilities and Digital Development of the Novgorod Region was an executive body of the Novgorod Region, exercising powers in the field of communications, navigation, transport, road facilities, digital economy, information and communication technologies and organizing information interaction with federal executive bodies and (or) automated systems of federal executive bodies.
