In assets of Efes Rus six breweries - in Kaluga, Ufa, Kazan, Novosibirsk, Ulyanovsk and Vladivostok and 1 malting complex. The group includes the JSC PO KV-Solodovpivo enterprises, KV-Sibpivkompaniya LLC, JSC Amstar.

History

In 1999 the international brewery EFES Beer Group opened in Moscow own production - the first plant of present EFES Group. The first bottle of beer on "Brewery Moscow is the Hilt" rolled off the production line on June 7, 1999. It was Old Melnik beer. Today in our portfolio of 12 known brands, in that number - Efes Pilsener, Bavaia, Warsteiner, the Old miller, the Polar bear.

Originally production capacities of the plant did not exceed 10 million decalitres of beer a year, today this digit makes 45 million decalitres. At that time in the company only 250 people worked, but this team of professionals was ready to growth. Today more than 4 thousand people are on the staff of the company.

In 2009 the brewing industry of Russia came under influence of the economic crisis which caused 4.8% production reduction. Since January 1, 2011 became effective increase in excise duties on brewing products which caused increase in prices and became the production reduction reason for 5.7%. In this situation we saved optimism and achieved growth contrary to crisis - EFES Group completed 2010 with the 12% growth of sales volumes. It became possible thanks to our employees - devoted to the case, ready to the non-standard solutions open for the new ideas.
