2022: Appointment of Mikhail Izyumov as CEO
Mikhail Izyumov, who previously worked at the Progress Samara RCC, was appointed General Director of the Scientific and Production Association of Automation named after Academician N.A. Semikhatov (NPOA, Yekaterinburg), where he went from a design engineer to the head of the department. This was announced on December 15, 2022 by Roscosmos. Read more here.
2011
As of March 2011, the company provides a complete technological cycle for the creation of original automated control systems and complexes from idea development to product manufacture and service. In the test center of the enterprise there is an opportunity to conduct a full range of tests for climatic and mechanical effects.
FSUE NPO Automation products are widely used at sea, in space, at metallurgical enterprises, power plants, in housing and communal services, in transport, in the oil and gas complex. Our devices and control systems operate successfully not only in Russia, but also in the countries of near and far abroad. It is difficult to list the entire range of products of the enterprise. Each control system is tailored to the customer's specific requirements.
Today, the enterprise employs about half of the staff in R&D, and the second half is pilot production. Pilot production is a rather conventional, historical term, since foundry, stamping, mechanical assembly and tool production, printed circuit board workshop, assembly and assembly shops and testing units also provide development work and production of serial products, which make up a significant share of the order portfolio. The complexity of the products is up to 20,000 parts and assembly units, the production cycle is from 1 to 18 months.
