VNIIEM Corporation is an institute plant in which scientific, design and production units are simultaneously deployed. Since the beginning of the space era, when the country took the first steps in space exploration and created its own nuclear missile shield, VNIIEM, as the parent organization, actively participated in the development of electrical equipment for launch vehicles, in particular the famous R-7, with which the first artificial Earth satellite was launched into orbit, and then the first manned spacecraft "Vostok."

2025: Pavel Filippov appointed new general director of VNIIEM
Pavel Filippov was appointed to the post of General Director of JSC Scientific and Production Corporation Space Monitoring Systems, Information Management and Electromechanical Complexes named after A.G.
