2021: Creating an Organization
On November 2, 2021, the non-profit technology consortium Linux Foundation announced the creation of the NextArch Foundation organization for the development of microservice architecture.
According to a press release, the NextArch Foundation will serve as a "neutral home" for developers and members of the Open Source community to create a next-generation architecture and maintain compatibility between the growing number of microservices.
