Northern UGMS

The federal state budgetary institution "Northern Management on Hydrometeorology and Monitoring of the Environment" is the non-profit organization created for ensuring needs of the state, legal entities and physical persons in hydrometeorological, heliogeophysical information, in information on state of environment, its pollution including the emergency information in territories of the Arkhangelsk and Vologda regions, the Komi Republic, the Nenets Autonomous Okrug, the Yamal region of Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Area, the city settlement Dickson and the rural settlement of Khatanga, a part of the territory of the Republic of Karelia, a part of the territory of Murmansk region, the Northern part of the Taimyr (Dolgan-Nenets) municipal district of Krasnoyarsk Krai, the water area of the White and Karsky seas, the southeast of the Barents Sea, the West of the Laptev Sea.

Powers and functions of the founder of Organization on behalf of the Russian Federation are performed by Federal service on the hydrometeorology and monitoring surrounding the environment (Roshydromet).

Organization is created by the order of Roshydromet of 8/10/2011 No. 420.
