Nutanix is an American cloud solution and virtualization systems developer. Since 2014, Nutanix has acquired employees in Russia within the Eastern European representative office of the company.

2022: Nutanix stops sales and support in Russia. What should customers do?

The American developer of hyper-converged infrastructure solutions Nutanix follows the sanctions imposed by the United States, Britain, the EU and other countries against Russia and suspends all sales and support in Russia, Belarus, as well as in the LPR and DPR. The company announced this in its blog in March, becoming one of many foreign technology companies that have imposed restrictions on work in Russia.

Nutanix notes that Russia, Belarus and Ukraine collectively account for less than 1% of its quarterly revenue.

Nutanix suspends sales and support in Russia

One of Nutanix's largest partners in Russia is KPBS, which has been supporting various solutions for 23 years, and Nutanix has been supporting for more than 7 years. To improve the quality of Russian-language support , KPBS engineers have been trained and certified by the vendor. This allowed her to obtain the status of an authorized Nutanix support partner.

If the target option is to switch to another solution, then it is possible to do this while maintaining the benefits of HCI. At the same time, protecting investments and reusing the existing infrastructure. For example, you can install other supported hyperconverged software on existing hardware (which was used for Nutanix or another vendor). When implementing several projects , KPBS has already replaced products from vendors that have ceased activities in our country with Russian and Chinese hyper-converged solutions, including within the framework of a fully import-substituted VDI stack. These solutions are generally less hardware-intensive and run/are supported by the manufacturer on existing customer equipment.

A hybrid option is also possible - continue to use Nutanix with partner support, at the same time work out the issue of switching to another solution.

2021: Nutanix during TAdviser IT Retail Day will tell why retailers need the technology of Internet giants

Nutanix became a partner of the TAdviser IT Retail Day 2021 conference - a platform for a meaningful conversation about what IT solutions and practices will be needed by retail to trade today and tomorrow.

2017: Refutation of article from 21.02.2017

On February 21, 2017, an article was published on the TAdviser.ru website about the atmosphere in the company's team Nutanix , Russia based on information posted by a former Nutanix employee Andrei Beshkov on his page on the social network Facebook and provided by him during a personal conversation to a TAdviser journalist. The information was not properly verified by the editorial board, therefore it cannot be considered reliable. In this regard, the material was removed from the site. The editors apologize to the employees of Nutanix mentioned in the article.

2014: First representatives in Russia
