2021: 4iG bought ONE Telecommunications

At the end of December 2021, the Hungarian ICT company 4iG the purchase of ONE Telecommunications. The amount of the transaction is not disclosed, but the event followed shortly after 4iG agreed to purchase a controlling stake in another Albanian telecom operator, Albtelecom. The transaction is expected to close after receiving regulatory approval in Albania.

4iG acquired ONE Telecommunications

In early December, 4iG already announced that it had signed a final contract to buy an 80.27% stake in Albtelecom from Cetel Telecom, a majority subsidiary of Turkish multidisciplinary holding Calik Holding.
