History
2022: Fujitsu bought oobe
In early February 2022, Fujitsu Australia acquired Microsoft's Australian partner, oobe. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.
According to Fujitsu, this acquisition will help both companies develop in the Australian market and around the world, as well as strengthen digital transformation and provide digital solutions to a wider customer base.
It is the second sdelkafujitsu Australia for the last 12 months after acquisition of the Versor company which is engaged in consultation on data and artificial intelligence, and is a part of the plan of Fujitsu for development due to merges and absorption. According to Fujitsu, the knowledge and experience of oobe as a Microsoft partner will help both companies accelerate the process of digital transformation of customers.
According to Fujitsu, the focus will be on government customers due to the combined experience of both firms and mature public sector and defense practices. Fujitsu also notes that this acquisition will lead to job creation throughout Australia through contracts concluded before the deal with both organizations, but specific figures were not disclosed.
oobe will continue to operate as a separate company under CEO Stuart Kilduff, who will become a member of Fujitsu Australia's executive management team, Fujitsu said. Integration of company server systems will take place in stages.[1]
