The Orsk Machine-Building Plant (OMZ) produces a wide range of locks for drill pipes and components for oil field equipment, gas cylinders for various purposes.
History
2022
As of June 2022, OMZ is certified by American the American Petroleum Institute for the right to produce drilling pipe locks according to the API Spec 5DP international standard. The quality management system for the production of welds for drill pipe and gas cylinders is certified according to international ISO 9001 standards/API Q1.
The company's products are supplied to both Russian and foreign consumers.
2007: Joining TMK
OJSC "Pipe Metallurgical Company" (TMK) on February 5, 2007 announced the acquisition of 100% of ordinary registered non-documentary shares of OJSC "Orsk Machine-Building Plant" (OMZ, Orsk, Orenburg Region), which is 75% of the authorized capital of the enterprise. From February 1, 2007, the powers of the sole executive body of OMZ OJSC passed to TMK OJSC[1]
