2021: Attraction of $5 million investments

In the middle of February, 2021 the Russian fund Flashpoint Venture Capital invested in the Israeli startup of Particula creating the interactive toys combining offline and the online worlds. In general during series A the company collected $5 million, and Flashpoint Venture Capital headed this round of financing.

Particula startup founded in 2018 has staff of 20 people (by February of the 2021st) and is ready to use the received means for hiring of bigger number of employees. Besides, the company intends to direct investments to expansion of the partnership in the field of marketing and sale.

Our purpose - to give to children the chance to enjoy games far from screens of computers using smart toys, - the cofounder and the CEO of Particula claims Fish Dor (Udi Dor). With the new capital the company is going to begin production of several new products, such as Rubiks Connected (in partnership with Rubiks company) and GoDice which last year collected more than $400,000 for Kickstarter.

The GoDice system allows to use board games in digital space: couple of cubes are synchronized with applications of other players thanks to technology of Internet of Things worldwide. According to developers, such approach opens huge opportunities for remote games of the different directions, from Yahtzee to Dungeons and Dragons. At the same time developers can expand the range at any time.

The startup works with Rubiks company long ago: the Rubik's Cube with intellectual connection, known as GoCube was the first product Particula. This toy which is delivered with own platform for cybersport competitions was used in a global virtual action of RedBull's Rubiks World CUP.[1]
