2020
Purchase of 100% of Penzaholod shares by Damate group of companies
On May 12, 2020, the Damate group of companies announced that it had bought a 100% stake in the ice cream producer Penzaholod. The deal was closed at the end of April. The parties do not disclose the amount of the transaction and its terms. The production facilities of one of the oldest cold processing plants in Russia will be integrated into the group structure, ice cream will appear in the Damate product line.[1]
Production capacity
The production capacity of Penzaholod as of 2020 exceeds 10,000 tons of products per year.
Penzaholod produces more than 30 types of ice cream under the Nashi brand. Through a network of distributors, it is sold throughout the country, and is also exported to Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia.
2019: Revenue - RUR 200 million
The company's revenue in 2019 amounted to 200 million rubles.
2013: Specialization
As of May 2013, the production and commercial enterprise Penzakholod OJSC specializes in wholesale and retail trade in food.

1993: Start of ice cream production
Since 1993, the company began to produce ice cream.
1958: Foundation of the cold-packing plant
The cold processing plant was founded in 1958 as a logistics center for the procurement, storage and distribution of berry, vegetable, fish, meat, dairy products for the Penza region and neighboring regions.
