2024: The start of use in the service of cyberdogs and cars without drivers

Chinese police have adopted robotic dogs that help patrol the streets. In addition, law enforcement officers in the PRC use self-driving cars and all kinds of unmanned aerial vehicles. These high-tech devices allow faster response to incidents and improve security in general, as stated in materials released in mid-December 2024.

It is noted that cyberdog able to run, jump and independently navigate in space. Such machines can penetrate into dangerous areas that are inaccessible to people. Robots are equipped with cameras, all kinds of sensors, flashing beacons, etc. They are able to analyze scenes in real time and send alerts to the command center. Dogs are suitable for use, including during rescue operations.

Chinese police began to use a robot and cars without drivers in the service

At the same time, in eastern China, as noted by the South China Morning Post, the police are assisted by an unusual spherical robot equipped with various sensors, including ultrasonic sensors, a GPS receiver and several cameras. This car is capable of speeds up to 35 km/h. The robot can be equipped with various suppressors, such as tear gas. Thanks to the design of high strength, the device is not afraid of blows and falls from ledges. The machine copes with mud, slush and light off-road, and can also overcome water obstacles.

The introduction of robots of different types is part of China's large-scale program to equip the police with intelligent solutions. The machines can be used in a variety of tasks, including patrolling, surveillance, information gathering, guarding and countering criminals through non-lethal action tools.[1]
