2020: Termination of work

On April 7, 2020 it became known of termination of work of Faeton service. In the conditions of COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic people began to use less the taxi that could become the reason of closing of the Moscow service.

That Phaeton ceased to render services Interfax was told by users of service. According to them, it occurred on April 6. At the time of the publication of material (on April 7, 2020 5:30 p.m. Moscow time) on the official site of the company of information on it is not present. At the same time the specified phone number for the order of the taxi does not work.

It became known of termination of work of Faeton service

On one of contact telephone numbers reported to the agency that the service really does not render service since yesterday.

By April 7, 2020 on the website of the company it is specified that the park of the taxi service consists of more than 200 Hyundai Sonata cars of a business class. In addition to the simple order of the taxi on the city, it was possible to order wedding transportations, to make a trip out of borders of the Moscow region, to use service of the personal driver, etc.

According to given systems SPARK-Interfax, Faeton LLC registered to the same address as taxi service, it was founded in 2011 and it is liquidated in 2017 owing to bankruptcy. Avto-Invest LLC which enters the list of committee of the Moscow Chamber of Commerce and Industry concerning development of transport service of passenger traffic by the passenger motor transport was the main owner of the liquidated legal person.

Since March 29, 2020 in Moscow the self-isolation mode within which it is authorized to residents of the capital to leave the house only in urgent cases works. On this background as counted in MTS, for non-working week from March 30 to April 5 the number of users of the taxi in Moscow was reduced by 62% in comparison with average values of February, and clients of car-sharing became 57% less.[1]
