2026: Logic of Milk bought Polaris ice cream factory

The largest ice cream factory in Siberia "Polaris" in Novosibirsk was sold to the company "Logic Milk." The deal was completed in January 2026. Its amount, according to the general director of Infoline-Analytics Mikhail Burmistrov, may amount to 5.5-6 billion rubles.

The acquisition includes production facilities and the largest refrigeration and warehouse complex outside the Urals with an area of ​ ​ 35 thousand square meters. m. The press service of "Logic of Milk" confirmed the fact of the purchase.

The production capacity of the factory is more than 19 thousand tons of products per year. The plant produces products under the brands Prostokvashino, Salwadore, Case in Cream, and also produces ice cream for chain retailers. According to the industry portal Milknews, the company is among the top 10 Russian manufacturers of this category of goods.

Representatives of "Logic of Milk" said that the acquisition is a strategic step to enter the ice cream market and is in line with the company's development plans until 2030. The new owner intends to invest in the modernization and increase in the capacity of Polaris, but will retain the current management team.

Ilya Zharsky, managing partner of the Veta expert group, noted that the further development of production requires significant investments. According to him, the sale allows the former owners to record profits after the successful modernization of the asset.

The deal comes amid a general decline in the market. According to the data, Nielsen sales Russia of ice cream in the high season of 2025 fell by 7.1%. The reasons were the cold start of summer and rising prices. In Siberia, the decline was 10.4%.

Despite the difficult market conditions, Polaris increased its market share in 2025. The entry of the plant into the structure of a large holding without a change of management will create conditions for the completion of the planned expansion of production. Mikhail Burmistrov believes that this will increase the capacity of the enterprise to 30 thousand tons and achieve full load within three years.^[1]
