QWave Capital is venture investment fund. It is created in 2012.
The fund specializes in investments into quantum technologies and new materials. It is based by the entrepreneur and the partner of Runa Capital fund Sergey Belousov with assistance of scientists from Harvard University, MIT and[1].
The mission of fund — to help the companies developing new materials and devices on the basis of quantum physics at an early stage and to give the chance to investors to take part in a new round of development of quantum technologies.

The size of fund is not specified. According to messages of the press, its size is about $30 million.
History
2012
The foundation is set up 2012 at the end. Founders of Parallels Sergey Belousov and Ilya Zubarev, former CEO of Ritzio Entertainment Group Sergey Kuzmin.
2013
On June 19, 2013 it became known that QWave Capital closed the first transactions. In this round the fund supported projects of the Estonian company Clifton, the American company Centiece. Total amount of investments was $7 million.
In 2013 QWave together with Skolkovo Foundation invested in the "Photon Nano-meta Technologies" company developing the device for more reliable data encryption. QWawe invested 10 million rubles, the company received 30 more million rubles from Skolkovo in the form of a grant. The company spends the received funds for creation of the generator of single photons which are used in a quantum cryptography. The release of the small chip which can be built in the telecom equipment is supposed.
On October 15, 2013 the fund invested $5.6 million in expansion of business of the Swiss company ID Quantique developing technologies of secure communication and the commercial systems of quantum enciphering.
2014
On February 14, 2014 it became known, Qwave Capital together with Runa Capital, Almaz Capital Partners, Phystech Ventures and Grishin Robotics became the venture partner of the Kazan technopark of Navigator Campus.
On June 26, 2014 it became known, QWave Capital invested $1.1 million in the Lunera Lighting company providing the solution which allows offices to pass to LED lamps economically.
