History

2021: Central Bank fines the company for violations with payments

The Central Bank revealed that the Reso-guarantee insurance company did not pay money for the burial of those who died during accidents on time several times. "The mother of the deceased on April 12, 2021 sent a statement to the insurance company of the culprit of the accident to pay insurance compensation for the death of her son, including a copy of the receipt of burial expenses." The woman had to knock the money through the court. Since the beginning of 2021, the Central Bank has already found violations several times on complaints from the company's customers and sought fines for the Reso Guarantee.

2020: Ergo renamed Unity Insurance

License for 102 types of insurance services and reinsurance activities

According to information as of April 2012, RESO-Garantia had a license for 102 types of insurance services and reinsurance activities.

RESO-Guarantee provided a wide range of insurance services for individuals and legal entities. Priority areas of activity were auto insurance (CASCO and OSAGO, as well as DGO), voluntary medical insurance, property insurance of individuals and legal entities, mortgage insurance, tourist insurance, accident insurance and other types. Cumulative life insurance was offered by a subsidiary of the Life Insurance Company RESO-Garantia.

RESO-Garantia is an agency company, as of April 2012, over 19 thousand agents worked in it. The branch network - one of the largest in Russia - at that time included more than 800 branches and sales offices in all regions of Russia. More than 7.2 million customers - organizations and individuals - used RESO-Guarantee products and services.

Partners of RESO-Guarantee for reinsurance programs were Hannover Re, SCOR, Munich Re, Swiss Re, Lloyd's syndicates.

RESO Group

The RESO Group was established in 2004. As of April 2012, the group combined more than 30 companies operating in the insurance, pension, development, automotive, leasing and medical businesses in Russia and the CIS.

Activity

The RESO Group included companies operating in various business areas.

Compulsory health insurance:

• SMK RESO-Med LLC is a group of specialized companies for compulsory health insurance (compulsory medical insurance).

Medical direction:

• Medilux TM is a medical service company. She had a round-the-clock medical dispatch room and a service of "personal doctors." Founder of the MedSwiss network of medical centers in Moscow and the Moscow region (clinics in the ITAR-TASS building, on Lenivka, in Nagorno-Proezd, in Zhukovka on Rublevo-Uspenskoye shosse and a children's clinic in Zamoskvorechye), as well as the Good Doctor dental clinic (Moscow). There was also a MedSwiss-03 ambulance service in Moscow.

• "RESO-Auto-Service" - car service, body repair station.

Financial direction:

• RESO Credit Bank (OJSC). The main services are mortgage lending and deposits for individuals.

Leasing area:

• RESO-Leasing - provided leasing of highly liquid types of equipment and equipment for transactions of any degree of complexity, using financing schemes alternative to bank loans.

• RESOTRAST is a universal leasing company. Provided for leasing technological equipment, vehicles and other property. Specialized in project financing, implementation of investment programs and high-tech projects.

Pension provision:

• NPF "SberFund RESO" - provided Russian citizens with services on compulsory pension insurance and non-state pension provision.

• SZAO "RESO" (Armenia) - the company was created in 2008 under the name "UniRESO," and in October 2009 it was renamed to SZAO "RESO." Despite its youth, the company actively participated in open tenders and set as its task the development of a wide agency network. Already now, the "RESO School in Armenia" trained up to 100 insurance agents every month.

Development area: Companies developing office centers and housing in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Ukraine, Belarus and Lithuania.

"RESO Holding Company" is the management company of the RESO Group.

2011: Awards

RESO-Garantia became the laureate of the country's main insurance prize "Golden Salamander" in several honorary nominations in 2005, 2008 and 2011. Since 2009, the Expert RA rating agency annually confirms the RESO-Guarantee "Extremely High Level of Reliability" A++ - the maximum possible in Russia today.
