History
2024: Pension Fund "Telecom-Soyuz" bought Rusnarbank
In August 2024, it became known that the non-state pension fund (NPF) Telecom-Soyuz acquired Rusnarbank for ₽5,3 billion. The transaction was carried out in April 2024 at the own expense of NPFs.
According to Frank Media, Rusnarbank previously belonged to the Moscow Credit Bank (MKB) from 2020 to 2022. The bank specialized in car loans, issuing bank guarantees for participants in government orders and lending secured by real estate. At the beginning of 2022, the credit institution was sold to 11 individuals, each of whom owned a share of 9.1%.
At least one of the new owners, Vyacheslav Doroshko, had connections with the Region Group of Companies. He served as general director of companies owned by three ZPIFs, whose shares were owned by Roman Avdeev and Sergey Sudarikov. The latter is the beneficiary of the "Region," and the former is associated with its structures.
As of August 2024, Rusnarbank focuses on issuing bank guarantees to executors of state contracts, settlement and cash services and lending to legal entities. The bank's agency network includes more than 700 agents in 73 regions. The credit institution also applies risk hedging instruments in the form of business risk insurance in leading insurance companies.
NPF Telecom-Soyuz has experience in acquiring financial companies at its own expense. In 2019, the fund bought the MD Trust management company, and in December 2023 - NPF Perspektiva (formerly known as UMMC-Perspektiva).
Rusnarbank's development strategy is aimed at comprehensive services for small and medium-sized businesses in the Digital bank format. The Bank plans to scale targeted products outside the regions of presence through online channels, concentrating on bank guarantees, factoring, financing energy service contracts, leasing and financing leasing companies with a diversified customer base.[1]
2020: ICD buys 100% of Rusnarbank shares
On May 18, 2020, it became known that the Moscow Credit Bank (MKB) entered into transactions to buy a 100% stake in Vesta Bank and Rusnarbank, which are part of the Region group of companies. The deal takes place within the framework of the strategic partnership of the Rossium concern Roman Avdeev and the Region Sergei Sudarikov.
The purchase of Rusnarbank will allow the ICD to develop the directions of car loans and business mortgages, as well as use the Norma digital platform to provide guarantees and loans for bidders and tenders, the credit institution said in a statement.
