History

2022: Region bought 29.18% of Petropavlovsk gold mining company from Yuzhuralzolot

March 9, 2022 it became known about the sale of 29.18% of Petropavlovsk to the Region group of companies Sergey Sudarikov. This stake in one of the largest Russian gold mining companies was sold to Yuzhuralzoloto Group of Companies (UGK). More details here.

2021

Accession of Russia's largest NPF with assets of more than 900 billion rubles "Big"

On May 12, 2021, it became known about the creation of Russia's largest non-state pension fund (NPF) with assets exceeding 900 billion rubles. According to Kommersant, the pension division of the association of the Region group and the Rossium concern will include the Bolshoi NPF. The deal was closed in April 2021. The company ranked eighth in terms of pension savings (49.4 billion rubles). More details here.

Purchase of the largest private NPF Safmar

On February 9, 2021, it became known about the sale of the largest private non-state pension fund (NPF) Samfar to the Region group. Relevant documents are filed with the FAS of Russia. More details here.

2019: Receiving more than 50% in the NPF "Future"

NPF "Future" at the beginning of 2019, it was the fourth largest Russian fund for obligations to citizens under the OPS. In 2018, the financial group of the same name (FG), which included NPF, transferred for debts from O1 Group Boris Mints the Cypriot offshore Riverstretch Trading & Investments (RT&I), which at the end of 2018 sold 49% of the shares of the flagship fund of the investment company (IC) Leningradskoe Adagio, owned by the shareholder offshore WHPA group. At the Sergey Sudarikov beginning of 2019, the IC, due to additional emotion, increased its share to a little more than 50% of the authorized capital of NPFs.

2018: Purchase of insurance company "Ugoria"

On June 1, 2018, an auction to privatize 100% of the shares of the national insurance company Ugoria won Region Infrastructure LLC for an initial transaction amount of 2.893 billion rubles. Ugoria was included in the privatization plan back in 2005 and remained the last insurance company with state participation in Russia. More details here.

2011: Region Leasing is founded in the group

In 2011, the Group founded the universal leasing company REGION Leasing.

2003

In 2003, the REGION Depository Company was established. The specialized depository provides clients with a full range of services both directly special depository and related to the field of specialized registrar.

2002

In 2002, the REGION Brokerage Company was created and the brokerage service was allocated in a separate direction.

2002 - the group began to develop the direction of asset management. For these purposes, the managing company REGION Asset Management has been created.

1995: Founding of the investment company Region

The Group has been operating since 1995, since the founding of the Investment Company REGION.
