In addition to actually management system for the containers Rancher Labs works on the container optimized OS known as RancherOS. Normal complete Linux distribution kit of general purpose has the packets and  functions unnecessary during the work with  containers  and therefore there is a requirement in  container optimized by Linux. In addition, optimized for  containers OS can improve security, minimizing a zone of the potential attack, the producer claims.[1]
