Rerooms is a marketplace for housing products and services. The service offers online interior design services, repairs and the purchase of all goods in a single window. By November 2021, the site provides orders to more than 1,500 designers throughout Russia. More than 500 companies from the small and medium-sized business segment for the production of furniture, building materials and household goods are connected to the company's marketplace. The service presents over 300 thousand goods.

History

2024: 'Airplane' takes ownership of 75% of Rerooms

Samolet Plus increased its stake in the repair and furnishing service Rerooms from 50.01% to 75.01%. The transaction to exercise the option to buy out part of the shares of the founders of the company was closed on November 27, 2024.

According to RB.RU, as a result of the transaction, the co-founders of the service reduced their participation in the project: the share of Dmitry Borisov decreased from 34.61% to 10.8%, and Yuri Goldberg - from 11.98% to 10.8%. The shares of other participants - Andrei Lyamin-Borodin (3.08%) and Ekaterina Chernyshenko (0.32%) - remained unchanged.

Dmitry Volkov, managing partner of Samolet Plus, stressed that in three years since the company entered the capital of Rerooms, the service's revenue has more than tripled, and in 2025 it is expected to grow twice. Rerooms has become an important component of the repair and furnishing line. At the end of 2023, the revenue of Rerums LLC increased by 10%.

The history of cooperation between the companies began in November 2021, when the developer Samolet acquired 31.8% of Rerooms to strengthen competencies in decoration and furnishing of housing. The share was then increased to 50.01%.

Rerooms is developing a neural network to create interior design, expanding the technological capabilities of the service. The company continues to develop innovative solutions in the field of repair and design of premises.

By November 2024, Samolet Plus is developing a network of more than 1.6 thousand offices in 300 cities of Russia, providing real estate services for both B2B- and B2C segments. The business model includes the opening of franchise offices, flipping and furnishing services for developers, as well as a platform for selling new buildings and a CRM system for realtors.[1]

2021: Samolet buys 31.8% of Rerooms

On November 29, 2021, the Samolet Group announced the purchase of 31.8% of Rerooms. The company did not disclose the financial terms of the transaction.

At the same time, it is known about the agreement in which "Samolet will be able to bring its share in the startup to the control one by investing in its development. In particular, Rerooms will spend the funds raised from the Samolet on developing its own marketplace with services and goods for home improvement, multiplying the number of suppliers and goods and improving customer experience with the development of technological solutions and software implementations.

It is assumed that on the basis of Rerooms, the largest housing arrangement platform in Russia will be created, including a marketplace for furniture, building materials, interior design and repair services. The operational management of the marketplace will remain with the founders of Rerooms Dmitry Borisov and Yuri Goldberg.
