History

2021: Opening of dialysis ward

March 11, 2021 on the basis of the Clinical Hospital "Russian Railways-Medicine" named after N.A. Semashko in Moscow opened a dialysis department. This was reported by the press service of the network of clinics "Russian Railways."

The opening of a new hospital-based dialysis unit is a big benefit for patients. The multidisciplinary hospital "Russian Railways-Medicine" named after N.A. Semashko is part of the health care network of Russian Railways. By March 2021, it includes a clinic for 765 visits per shift and a 24-hour hospital for 547 beds. The clinic is included in the list of organizations providing high-tech medical care that is not included in the compulsory medical insurance. In 2020, the hospital received 475 quotas for the profile of "traumatology and orthopedics," as well as 10 quotas for the profile of "otorhinolaryngology."^[1]

2014

In 2014, new areas of the traumatology and orthopedics center were put into operation, the Philips apparatus was installed for the department of X-ray surgical methods of diagnosis and treatment, and the repair of the reception department was started. Today, the hospital named after N.I. Semashko is one of the largest medical centers in Moscow for railway workers and their families.

An important component of the Hospital's activities has always been and remains scientific work. Over the years, the clinic was consulted and worked in it by leading domestic scientists, professors and academicians of the USSR Academy of Medical Sciences. Among them are V.M. Svyatukhin, I.A. Kassirsky, V.K. Apakidze, N.I. Shirokinsky. Currently, the hospital is the base of five departments of the Moscow State Medical University and RUDN University.

Over the years of its work, the Semashko Road Clinical Hospital has more than once received awards, diplomas and other confirmations of the professionalism of the clinic as a whole and its employees. So, in 2004, the hospital became a laureate of the international Profession-Life Prize, in 2006, on behalf of the Moscow City Duma, it was awarded the certificate of merit "For Services to the City Community," in 2011, according to the results of a rating study of the expert center of the International Profession-Life Prize, the hospital entered the TOP 100 of Russia in the nomination "Socially significant healthcare institution ."

According to the results of the annual competition for the title "The Best Non-Governmental Healthcare Institution of Russian Railways" for 2013, the staff of NUZ "Road Clinical Hospital named after N.A. Semashko at Art. Lyublino Russian Railways was awarded third place.

2012-2013

In 2012-2013, transformations take place that affected almost all aspects of the hospital's activities. An ambulance department, two pharmacy centers, a women's consultation, a podological office, a rheumatological center, neurosurgical and endocrinological departments have been opened. To ensure a comfortable stay of patients, a modern repair of part of the areas of the polyclinic and surgical buildings was carried out.

2003

In 2003, clinics joined the hospital at Perovo station, at Kurovskaya station, at Savelovskaya station, at Ramenskoye station. In 2003-2004, a major overhaul of the three-story hospital building was carried out. Since 2004, the hospital has held the title of clinical, is the clinical base of leading medical universities in Moscow. 1992

1973

In 1973, with the support of the leadership of the Moscow Railway, a new 7-story therapeutic building was opened. The number of beds by 1974 reaches 710, the conditions for the stay of patients are significantly improving.

1959

In 1959, after the formation of the Moscow Railway, the hospital received the name "Road Hospital No. 1 named after N.A. Semashko of the Moscow Railway." In August 1960, Lublin became part of Moscow and became one of its southeastern districts.

1952

Since 1952, the hospital has been transferred to the territory where it is currently located and housed in a 3-story building with 250 beds.

1947

In 1947, the Lublin Railway Hospital merged with the Lublin Railway Polyclinic into a single institution called the "Lublin United Hospital named after N.A. Semashko."

1941

In 1941, the hospital was transferred to a two-story building located on the corner of Osoaviahima Street (modern 40th Anniversary of October Avenue) and Kirov Street (modern Sudakova Street). During the Great Patriotic War, hospital staff provided assistance not only to railway workers and residents of Lublin, but also to the wounded who arrived from the front.

1924: Establishment of a hospital and maternity shelter with 35 beds

On December 14, 1924 (order of the head of the health department of the Moscow-Kursk Railway dated December 14, 1924 No. 120), the Lublin Railway Hospital and a maternity shelter with 35 beds were opened on Moskovskaya Street in the then village of Lublin (in 1925 Lublin received the status of a city). The hospital was immediately named after the People's Commissar of Health N.A. Semashko. The first Soviet People's Commissar of Health Nikolai Alexandrovich Semashko, who was present at the opening, then left an entry in the hospital's red book: "I sincerely wish fruitful work for the benefit of railway workers and workers a newly opened, perfectly equipped and lovingly equipped hospital."
