2024: Co-owner buys company in full

Co-owner of the St. Petersburg company "Robotics and Motors" Viktor Bondarenko at the end of August 2024 completed the transaction on the full purchase of the enterprise. He has now become the sole owner and CEO of this manufacturer of industrial robots and automatic production lines. The company plans to introduce comprehensive automated solutions on the market that will allow serial production to optimize processes and reduce costs.

According to Vedomosti, Robotics and Motors was registered in St. Petersburg in October 2023 and was initially part of the Kingisepp Machine-Building Plant (KMZ) military-industrial holding. At the time of creation, the company had six owners, including Bondarenko with a share of 16.7%. However, he bought out all the shares and became the sole owner of the enterprise. The company specializes in the processing of metal products and is now preparing to produce automated lines for serial production.

Co-owner of Robotics and Motors bought out the company

The main goal of the development of Robotics and Motors will be the creation of automatic production complexes that can completely replace machine operators. As Bondarenko noted, such complexes will save up to 50-70% of production costs. It is assumed that robots will produce equipment for various industries, including the oil and gas and municipal spheres. For example, automated lines will be able to replace up to 10 operators required to service five shutoff valve machines. Orders for products can come from large companies such as Rosneft, Gazprom and Rosatom.

At the first stage, the company engages IT specialists to develop software code that will allow you to manage production equipment. Investments in this process will amount to about ₽10 million, and within a year it is planned to complete the development of a management system. At the next stage, Robotics and Motors will be engaged in the production of automated lines, purchasing machines and equipping them with systems fully controlled by software.[1]
