Purchase of 50% of Yunikorn

At the beginning of October, 2018 Yunikorn and Rubicon companies concluded the sign bargain for development of IoT in Russia. The owner of the Perm financial and industrial group and the president of ER-Telecom Holding Andrey Kuzyaev purchased 50% of Yunikorn company — developer of solutions of the Smart City area. ER-Telecom invested in a traffic monitoring system

The Rubicon company under control of the president of ER-Telecom Andrey Kuzyaev purchased 50% of the system developer of a moniring and traffic management of Napa Labs. The share was purchased at the Cyprian Albertson Limited, Kommersant writes. The edition does not call the owner of the remained 50%, but, according to other media, it is the Avium company^[1].

Napa Labs develops a system which allows to control traffic, blocking and placing in it priorities. One of products of the company - filtering system of traffic of Equila which is already tested by Roskomnadzor and is implemented on networks of operators in 60 cities. Similar developments are perspective as they help providers to block the illegal websites and to reduce costs for traffic.

Do not comment on the transaction in the Perm Financial and Industrial Group (PFIG) which is owned by Kuzyaev, in Napa Labs. However experts report that actually it is not acquisition, but restructuring as Napa Labs is under authority of ER-Telecom for a long time, the venture investor Dmitry Sutormin told the edition. Other analysts note that the transaction is made within expansion of a portfolio of the company. In the last year ER-Telecom actively bought up telecom operators in regions, but the company intends to enter also the adjacent markets - including also due to acquisitions, the analyst of Finam Leonid Delitsyn told.
