Russian Academy of Medical Science (RAMS)

The Russian Academy of Medical Science is the organization of the Government of the Russian Federation responsible for coordination of biomedical scientific research at the national level.

The academy conducts basic and application scientific research on the major problems in the field of medical and biological sciences and also in the fields of science, adjacent to them, directed to preserving of health, improvement of quality and life expectancy of the person. Besides, the Russian Academy of Medical Science coordinates the researches executed by the scientific organizations.
