Russian Institute of Strategic Researches (RISR)

The main task of RISI - information support of the Russian President Administration, Federation Council and State Duma, Security council, government office, the ministries and departments.

Powers and RISI functions

• questions of ensuring national security, studying of relationship of Russia with other countries;
• the analysis and the forecast of trends of political and social and economic processes at the global and regional levels;
• research of possible ways of preserving of strategic stability in new geopolitical conditions and assessment of factors of a strategic risk;
• the overview of methods of settlement of the crisis situations menacing to global and regional stability, attention to fight against terrorism;
• counteracts falsification of history in the former Soviet Union.

History

Among research associates and experts of RISI there are 13 doctors and 40 candidates of science. The institute will organize training for students and graduate students of universities of Russia and the abroad.
