As of April 2019, in the region of Russia and the CIS countries, the company is represented in 12 countries with offices in Russia (LLC SKF), Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan. Russia has also opened a production complex in Tver, producing compact conical axle box bearing units for innovative cars, as well as the SKF Solution Factory Engineering Center in Moscow, which offers customers comprehensive solutions based on a wide range of products and services of the company.

History

2022: Plan for the sale of enterprises in Russia

The Swedish manufacturer of bearings SKF, which provides them with almost all railway transport, announced on April 22, 2022 that it was terminating its operations in Russia and was going to sell all its Russian enterprises in order to "secure the future for its employees."

2019

According to April 2019, SKF representative offices are located in more than 130 countries, and in total about 17 thousand companies-distributors of SKF products operate in the world.

SKF offers solutions for rotation assemblies, including bearings, seals, lubrication and condition monitoring products, and maintenance services.

2018

In 2018, SKF's annual sales reached 85.7 billion shv. crowns (8.2 billion euros), the number of employees amounted to over 44 thousand people.

2010

As of September 2010, SKF is one of the world's leading suppliers of solutions for transportation equipment, and produces rolling bearings and their components, seals, mechatronics, lubrication systems, and also supplies industrial services.

The group of companies with 40,000 employees, 100 production sites and 15,000 dealers is represented in more than 130 countries. SKF GmbH is one of the largest private enterprises of the concern in Germany, which employs about 5,300 people.
