History

Opening of the training laboratory "BASEALT"

On September 17, 2025, the BASEALT educational laboratory was opened at the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communications. On the basis of the laboratory, students of the Informatics and Computer Engineering direction will study and master the Russian operational systems of the Alt family. The company "BASEALT" announced this on September 17, 2025.

Future IT specialists under the leadership of specialists of the Saratov Engineering Division "BASEALT" will master in practice the system administration of Linux, the architecture of computers and systems, data storage systems and other specialized disciplines.

Upon graduation, students will be able to pass vendor certification free of charge with the status of "Alt OS Administrator," as well as training and production practice in the company.

In the near future, joint plans are to launch research projects and career guidance activities on the basis of the laboratory. "BaseALT" is interested in training competent IT personnel for the region, plans to further expand cooperation with SSTU, "said Evgeny Sinelnikov, head of the Saratov Engineering Division of BASEALT.

The close connection of the university with the developers of domestic software is the key to the training of in-demand specialists, high-quality adaptation of graduates to real business needs. We are confident that the opening of the laboratory is only the first step of cooperation with the BASEALT company, and new measures are ahead of us in project and research activities, "said Svetlana Kumova, director of the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communications.

The Russian vendor provided the university with software and assisted in the modernization of equipment for equipping the laboratory at the Department "Software of Computer Systems and Computer Networks" InPIT.

2022: Cooperation with Almaz NPP to train personnel in the electronic industry

Holding "Roselectronics" State Corporation Rostec and Saratov State Technical University named after Yu.A. Gagarin agreed on cooperation in the field of training for industrial enterprises. This was announced by Roselectronics on March 23, 2022. The corresponding agreement was signed by acting Rector of SSTU Sergey Naumov and Deputy General Director for Personnel Management of NPP Almaz (part of Roselectronics) Konstantin Kozlov.

NPP Almaz and SSTU carry out joint vocational guidance activities for students, attract talented youth to study in specialties in demand in the radio-electronic industry, as well as provide admission of students for targeted training and assist them in further employment.

Polytechnic enters the digital transformation and forms the background for the engineering school. 2017: Cooperation with Saratov State University

Bell Integrator holds career evenings and master classes with students and graduates at the Institute of Applied Information Technologies and Communications (InPIT) at the Saratov State Technical University.
