2024: Technonicol bought Scandic Construction for hundreds of millions of rubles
Technonikol, one of the largest manufacturers of building materials in Russia, acquired the Scandic Construction house kit plant located in the Leningrad Region. The deal, estimated by experts at about 200 million rubles, was completed in early July 2024.
Technonikol bought 90% of the shares in Skandik Konstrakshen LLC and Selex LLC from the former owner Olga Khromova. The remaining 10% belongs to the British company Tritoria UK Ltd, which until 2022 was the sole owner of the enterprise.

The acquisition of Scandic Construction was Technonicol's second home-building asset. Earlier, the company already owned the Low-Rise Comfortable Houses plant in the Nizhny Novgorod Region.
The acquisition of Scandic Construction reflects the general trend of growing interest in individual housing construction in Russia.
