History

2022: Deloitte bought The Checkley Group

At the beginning of February 2022, Deloitte acquired The Checkley Group. The financial terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

As part of the deal, the founder and managing director of The Checkley Group, Bruce Pedersen, and co-managing director Alicia Curry, became partners with Deloitte Consulting. Checkley Group has a team of 15 professionals based in Sydney, and is also present in the markets of Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane, and will officially join Deloitte in mid-February 2022.

We have occupied a niche in the market thanks to the strategy, design, implementation and optimization of medical technologies, "Pedersen noted. - Merger with Deloitte will expand and strengthen consulting services that we know industry operators in Australia need. The deal with The Checkley Group followed a number of other strategic acquisitions of Deloitte in 2021, in particular Paxton Partners, which according to the plans of the consulting company, will help improve the financial and operational performance of customers, as well as Siggins Miller, which specializes in strategy development, evaluation research, policy advice.^[1]
