At the end of April 2021, it became known that Tvzavr creditors appealed to the court with a request to declare the online cinema bankrupt. The total debt of the company exceeds 100 million rubles.
According to RBC, on April 21, 2021, the Moscow Arbitration Court adopted a statement by Nikita Kisloshchenko declaring Tvzavr bankrupt. Kisloshchenko in early March 2021 notified the video service of his intention to go to court with a request to declare the company financially insolvent.
Earlier, Nikita Kisloshchenko sent a lawsuit to the Khamovnichesky District Court of Moscow to recover debt from Tvzavr for advertising services in the amount of 28.8 million rubles. The lawsuit was granted on February 2, 2021.
Another lender of the online cinema, Elektroavangard LLC, which specializes in equipping enterprises, also announced its intention to declare bankrupt. Taking into account interest, the video service owes 27.4 million rubles to this lender, the publication indicates.
In 2020, four lawsuits totaling 70.2 million rubles were filed with Tvzavr in the Moscow Arbitration Court, and from the beginning of 2021 to the end of April, the company received five more claims for 39.7 million rubles.
According to experts interviewed by the publication, Tvzavr's financial problems began in 2020. According to TMT Consulting estimates, among online cinemas operating according to the subscription model, Tvzavr in 2020 occupied 3% of the market.
At the same time, the owner of Tvzavr Ruslan Kaftanatiy promised to invest at least 1 billion rubles in the development of the service in 2020-2021. Ruslan Kaftanatiy was looking for a buyer for a video service throughout 2020, two top managers of telecommunications companies said.
