Unicon Business Service Joint Stock Company (formerly BDO Unicon Business Service CJSC) is an outsourcing division of BDO in Russia, to which the practice of accounting services was transferred from an audit company. Included in the Unicon group of companies (formerly BDO Unicon) is a Russian audit and consulting group of companies founded in 1989.

2022: Completion of rebranding

As of September 2021, BDO Unicon Business Service CJSC is an outsourcing division of BDO in Russia, to which the practice of accounting services was transferred from an audit company.

At the end of 2021, Unicon Outsourcing's revenue increased by 5.1% compared to the results of the previous period. This allowed the company to take third place in the rating, thereby maintaining its leading position among outsourcing providers.

2020: ISO 9001:2015

BDO Unicon Outsourcing passed inspection control for compliance with the requirements of ISO 9001 "Quality Management System." Compliance with ISO 9001 standards indicates the status and reliability of the service provider or goods, as well as a high level of management processes.

2019: SSAE 18 и ISAE 3402

In 2019, BDO Unicon Outsourcing became the first outsourcing provider in Russia to receive a combined SOC 1 report on SSAE18 and ISAE3402 standards. The outsourcing company's combined SSAE 18/ISAE 3402 report enabled customers to reduce their own audit costs through the control procedure conclusions from SOC 1.

2014

ISO 27001:2013

BDO Unicon Outsourcing was tested for compliance with the new international information security standard ISO 27001:2013 and received the corresponding certificate. It became the first organization in Russia to apply for a certification audit according to the new version of the standard, and one of the first to receive a certificate. Employees of BDO Unicon Outsourcing received ISO 27001 training at the Russian branch of the British Standards Institution (BSI) and brought the information security management system in line with the latest requirements of the standard.

Certification for compliance with the requirements of the 152-FZ "On Personal Data"

On August 5, 2014, it became known about the certification of BDO Unicon Outsourcing for compliance with the requirements of the Law "On Personal Data" (152-FZ).

BDO Unicon Outsourcing received a certificate confirming the compliance of the personal data protection system organized in the company with all the requirements of Federal Law No. 152-FZ "On Personal Data."

After the law was issued and the deadlines for its entry into force were announced, the company developed special regulations for working with personal data, purchased and introduced equipment and software certified by the FSTEC and the FSB of Russia for encryption and protection of information, created a virtual environment for storing and processing information. The company's specialists got acquainted with the content of the law and were trained to work in accordance with the new regulations.

2016

2019

In 2016, BDO Unicon Outsourcing became the absolute leader in the Russian accounting functions outsourcing market. In the next list of the largest outsourcing providers of RA Expert, released on June 30, 2016, the company took first place in terms of revenue for 2015, beating all the main competitors^[1].

In 2016, the provider officially announced that it was starting to provide payroll services in the BOSS-Personnel system. The first clients on this software appeared at BDO back in 2014. Now the largest customer of BDO Unicon Outsourcing in this niche is Schneider Electric, the total number of employees of which exceeds 12 thousand people.

2015: BDO Unicon Outsourcing revenue - RUB 1.12 billion (+ 19.1%)

By 2015, according to RA Expert, the overall growth of the outsourcing market had slowed significantly (6% versus 10% in 2014 and 24% in 2013). With the revenue of BDO Unicon Outsourcing increased by 19.1% and amounted to 1 123 656 000 rubles. The company explains such active growth by entering new markets, the emergence of increasingly large projects, optimization of internal processes and the launch of new services.

2011: ISO 9001:2008

The outsourcing division of the BDO group in Russia has received a certificate of compliance with the international standard of the quality management system ISO 9001:2008. The certificate of compliance with the international standard of the quality management system ISO 9001:2008 was issued to the outsourcing division of the BDO group by the Expert Center for Certification of Management Systems of the European Certification and Consulting Bureau. He confirms that the quality of services in the field of outsourcing of financial operations and accounting, payroll, personnel accounting and administration, legal services, as well as reporting according to Russian and international standards comply with the requirements of ISO 9001:2008. This standard is universal and can be applied to any industry, including in the field of business process outsourcing.

Preparation for ISO 9001:2008 certification in the outsourcing division of the BDO Group was started back in 2008. To this end, BDO introduced regulations on the technology of outsourcing services and interaction with clients, regulations in the field of information security and confidentiality of access to customer information, processing and storage of information in electronic and paper form, analyzed and formalized internal business processes. As a result of certification according to the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system, two employees of the outsourcing division of the BDO Group in Russia, Deputy General Director of Neporad Igor and Head of the Standardization and Regulation Department Pavel Zherdov, received official certificates of audit experts granting the right to conduct internal audit of Quality Management Systems. In addition, appropriate permits were obtained for the use of the Euro-Standard certification system compliance mark.

In January 2011, the outsourcing division of the BDO group in Russia received a certificate from the Expert rating agency confirming the results of the rating on outsourcing accounting functions, published in the Expert magazine on December 06, 2010 (No. 48, 2010[1]). The certificate confirms the new status of BDO as a company among the leaders in the accounting functions outsourcing market.

Business process outsourcing services - more than 200 customers

In to outsourcing business processes September 2010, there were more than 200 clients, Russian and foreign companies operating in the Russian Federation, as well as in other countries. 2009

Based on the results of its activities in 2009, the BDO audit and consulting group was included in the list of the largest accounting functions in outsourcing. The main indicator for the analysis of results was the revenue of companies from outsourcing without taking into account internal turnover by group of companies. In the general list of companies, the audit and consulting group BDO took second place with total revenue of 351,930 thousand rubles. According to the RA Expert methodology, the rating was determined by revenue from outsourcing of accounting and tax accounting, payroll calculation, personnel accounting and workflow, preparation of financial statements in accordance with RAS and IFRS.

In September 2005, as part of the BDO Unicon group, a separate legal entity was created - BDO Unicon Business Service CJSC (an outsourcing division of BDO in Russia), to which the practice of accounting services was transferred from an audit company.
