2021: Raising $25 Million from Day One Ventures
In mid-February 2021, it became known that the Day One Ventures venture fund, founded by former PR director of Acronis Maria Drokova, invested in the company unybrands, which specializes in the purchase, creation and promotion of online brands Amazon and DTC. The company closed a $25 million round of seed funding.
CEO and co-founder of unybrands Ulrich Kratz noted:
Over the past few years, thousands of large e-commerce businesses have appeared on Amazon and beyond. Consumer demand for small and authentic brands is growing rapidly. However, successful founders often face various difficulties associated with the sustainable functioning and scaling of the online brand. Despite the profitability, these enterprises still have very few opportunities to expand their business. This is where unybrands come to their aid. |
The company unybrands works with those business owners who have reached scale limits due to the lack of additional operating infrastructure and capital for growth. For successful entrepreneurs, unybrands provides attractive opportunities, including cash prepaid transactions, as well as long-term partnerships. Specializing in 8 key categories, including products for home and children, unybrands gives microbrands a chance to fully realize their growth potential.
After buying the business, unybrands deals with everything from the consolidation of logistics and supply chains to the optimization of production marketing and the economy, and ultimately allows the business to enter new domestic and international markets, expands product lines and platforms and improves the quality of customer service.[1]
