2024: Export growth by 80%
In January 2024, the largest manufacturer of veterinary drugs in Russia, VIK, summed up the results of the previous year. In particular, the company noted an 80% increase in exports of products in monetary terms.
According to a press release from the VIC group, the main foreign supplies of veterinary drugs in 2023 fell on the CIS countries, as well as Vietnam and Holland. In addition, the Russian manufacturer in 2023 received 35 registration certificates for products supplied to Kuwait, Vietnam, Egypt, Jordan, Iran and the Philippines.

According to VIC Group of Companies, in 2023 sterile injection solutions were in greatest demand on the international market, and a new line of injection suspensions is being prepared for implementation by the end of January 2024.
Speaking about plans for 2024, the VIC Group of Companies announced its intentions to increase exports by a third and increase drug registrations in other countries to 150. In addition, the group intends to focus even more on the markets of Southeast Asia, South America, the Middle East and Africa. VIC in 2024-2025 plans to bring to the market 100 new veterinary drugs in areas where there is a higher dependence on imported drugs, said Sergey Kasparyants, executive director of VIC Group of Companies, at the end of January 2024. He also announced the group's plans to increase production capacity by 4 times within two years.[1]
