History of the plant

In 1830 in the village of Petrino Naguyevskoy of the volost of the Vyazniki County the merchant 2 guilds Mikhail Andrianovich Barybin opened manual linen weaving mill on "development of linen sorts of a rough cloth". Later, in 1878, at this manufactory, bleaching production was opened by his brother Pavel Andrianovich ("a bleaching institution of cloths, on 10 jobs, equipped golandry and five bleaching chests"). The factory was heated by firewood, lit with kerosene lamps and candles. Work was performed only in the afternoon. 52 men and 15 women worked. To the end of the century production strongly grew and in 1900 the main building of production which remained up to now was built.

The beginning of the 20th century was marked by blossoming of the linen industry. More than twenty linen productions work in the Vyazniki County, local society of lnopromyshlennik is founded. The largest Vyazniki manufacturer, the merchant Alexander Vasilyevich Demidov, the native of the village of Mstyora of the Vyazniki County, becomes the first chairman of the All-Russian society of lnopromyshlennik founded in 1906 in Moscow. In 1907 the petrinsky factory will be reorganized into "A partnership of the Petrinsky manufactory". On it there is an expansion of production capacities, the first mechanical spinning machines appear, in workshops 130 people work already.

In two years, in 1911, the Partnership passes completely to one of founders, the large factory figure Andrey Fomich Tong living in Moscow. Barybina's brothers sell the share to other founders. In March, 1911 Tong dies and Nikolay Fedorovich Belyaev becomes the owner of a manufactory. This year there comes stagnation in trade, production is reduced and the factory works only 4 days a week.

After establishment of the Soviet power, in 1918, at factory working control was introduced, then it was nationalized. In 1921 in the city Lnotrest (the 2nd Lnopravleniye) is formed. The Petrinsky factory was included into it at No. 14 (all in trust there were 18 lnopredpriyatiya) and in 1920 is renamed into factory of a name of the Red Banner.

The joint management of the Vyazniki city factories worked till October, 1930. In 1930 transition to independent management, including at Red Banner and Free Proletarian factories was performed. From twentieth years both of these factories, owing to some conversion of production, became closely connected among themselves. In 1931 between them even the suspended cableway for giving of bases which connected technology process together was constructed. These years at factories huge work on production upgrade was unrolled.

At the very end of winter of 1941 when it became finally clear that in the coming months war will not end, so it is not necessary to wait for coal of Donbass, from Red Banner factory before peat developments near the village of Burino laying of the narrow-gage railroad began. The road started in the fall of 1942 saved several large defense plants making grenades and machine guns and the textile enterprises producing tarpaulin for the front at once. Through the river the movable bridge, and two engines called in the people Egorka and Maksimka was built, brought peat because of the river to specially equipped storage in the territory of factory from where it was already carried to consumers. The railroad existed thirty years, till 1972. In 1962 on the road there was a terrible accident - the train fell to the Klyazma River from badly reduced bridge. The first car with passengers left under water, 84 persons died. Spoke about incident in the world, including radio "Voice of America", however in the USSR held back the tragedy and did not comment.

Later, in 1965, the factory was a part of the Vyazniki flax processing business, and in 1976, after accession of Factory of Karl Liebknecht, it was renamed into "Consolidation of linen and technical fabrics". In consolidation more than 6000 people worked, produced more than 40 million meters of fabrics a year. Then, in 1976 there was a reconstruction of the building of factory. Ventilation was carried out, the fire extinguishing system is equipped, the three-storyed building of the ventilation chamber is attached.

Up to the end of vosmedisyaty years on production areas of factory machines and the equipment of spinning production were placed. Due to the crisis in production of a flax caused by both the general economic situation, and emergence of new synthetic materials, the factory repeatedly has tough times, production of products is reduced, production areas are empty and to the middle of the ninetieth lnopryadilny production at factory stops the existence. From now on and till 2006 the territory of factory was in the preserved status.

In 2006, after the reorganization of the Vyazniki flax processing business which is carried out by ROEL group, production once again replaced the owner. New owners carried out reconstruction and switched the enterprise to release of the electronic equipment.

In 2008 the plant received the new name which was more corresponding to its present profile – "Vyazniki Plant of the Radio-electronic Equipment". Now the plant is actively upgraded, and despite careful attitude to the ancient building, its workshops already remind of rich history little and symbolize themselves modern technical progress rather.

2011

On March 23, 2011 it became known that Rover Computers decided to transfer the Arsenal plant to the consolidated enterprise with the Vyazniki plant of radio electronics (VZRT) in exchange for the blocking packet in the united company.

Under the terms of the agreement, VZRT receives a controlling stake of the united company. Rover will have a blocking packet. In the course of consolidation of the company will make exchange of assets for total amount more than $10 million, speak in Rover. The transaction will be cashless.

After completion of the transaction VZRT will be responsible for operational production management, and Rover will focus on product development under own brand. The release of the devices of Rover will transfer on in a row united company.

The parties are calculated that the consolidated enterprise will become one of the largest contract producers of electronics in Russia and on total revenue in 2011 can already enter TOP 100 of the European providers EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services).

Nevertheless, "in the coming months" Rover intends to sell a part of the shares of the united company to owners of VZRT. According to Zharaspayev, proceeds will allow Rover to pay off a credit debt to the Kazakhstan Kazkommertsbank.

After merge at the plant in the city of Vyazniki the equipment on production of the plastic and metal body for electronics will be concentrated, and installation of printed circuit boards and final assembly will move in Alexandrov. Besides, in Alexandrov the equipment on production of TVs which VZRT redeemed in the fall of 2010 from the Turkish company "BEKO" will be placed.

For March, 2011 performs services in contract manufacturing of VZRT electronics in partnership with Altonika company - at its enterprise some orders arriving to VZRT are issued. Further decrease in a share of products which are turned out on Altonika for benefit of Arsenal is planned, the chairman of the board of directors of VZRT Sergey Zorin told CNews.
