History
2019: Palo Alto Networks purchased Zingbox for $75 million
At the beginning of September, 2019 Palo Alto Networks announced acquisition of Zingbox for $75 million. The perimeter of the transaction included all developments of a startup of Zingbox, including the IoT Guardian tool kit which allows the companies to set several security levels for the network devices.
Besides, Palo Alto Networks will receive from Zingbox Vigil service (warns the company if other clients of Zingbox faced cyber attacks) and the solution of microsegmentation (allows administrators to limit data exchange between systems that helping to minimize damage if hackers somehow got into network).
By the beginning of September, 2019 of software of Zingbox more than 11 million devices in the companies representing sectors of health care, production, etc. are used for protection. All these clients will pass into the order of Palo Alto Networks.[1]
