Biography

Alexander Viktorovich Kalinin is the co-owner and CEO of Sibedge, an international company that develops software for automation and digital business transformation. In 2014, he joined the team of organizers of the regional conference "City IT," which eventually became the largest industry IT conference in Siberia. He is actively working in the field of improving the quality of education and professional guidance of future IT specialists. From 2018 to 2021, a member of the board of Russoft.

Education

Born in 1983 in Ulan-Ude.

In 2003 he graduated with honors from the Ulan-Ude College of Railway Transport. In 2007 he graduated from Tomsk State University with the qualification of mathematician - programmer. In 2011, he received an MBA degree from the Higher School of Economics of TSU.

Career

Since 2006, he worked as a programmer in a number of commercial companies. So he began his career at Sibedge, which he headed in 2012. Over 15 + years, the Sibedge team has successfully implemented more than 350 projects in 27 countries.

Alexander Kalinin participates in various educational projects, mainly focused on school education. A pilot career guidance network project for schoolchildren "IT-start" was launched in Tomsk in the spring of 2018. It was attended by 280 teenagers from schools in Tomsk. They attended workshops and lectures by representatives of local technology companies and took part in various events of the project. In the third season, in 2022, about 500 students of grades 8 and 10 from 25 schools of the city and 15 Tomsk companies take part in it.
